More Spanish

to share  how I have been using it in
Spanish class on this Five for Friday post.

I read a reply to one of my blog posts, and was surprised to find out that I did not have the commentator's blog in my RSS feed.  I was very sorry to see how much good information I missed last school year.  I unfortunately can’t keep up with all the blogs relating to the teaching of foreign languages/world languages, so I would like to enlist your help.

I am working on a series of blog posts for the summer called Five for Friday. Sorry this one is a little late.

My students are constantly trying to convince me to see a movie in class.  However, it’s rare that I show a full length film.  My intermediate students don’t have the language skills to view a full 90 minute movie in Spanish, and many of the movies filmed in Spanish speaking countries have inappropriate language or scenes sprinkled here and there.  I still try and incorporate authentic language via films, but I use short clip throughout the year with a variety of lesson plans.  Here are five ideas to use in class.

I was catching up with my RSS feed, and ran across a Sock Puppet app for iPhones & iPads on The Creative Language Class.  I downloaded the free app immediately, and created the following skit.
