This paper reports on an investigation of podcasting as a tool for honing pronunciation skills in intermediate language learning. We examined the effects of using podcasts to improve pronunciation in second language learning and how students’ attitudes changed toward pronunciation over the semester. A total of 22 students in intermediate German and French courses made five scripted pronunciation recordings throughout the semester. After the pronunciation recordings, students produced three extemporaneous podcasts.

El objetivo del artículo es, primero, hacer una breve presentación de qué es la web 2.0 desde el punto de vista del docente y el investigador para, posteriormente, ver algunas propuestas para su uso en el aula y acabar contemplando cómo ha comenzado a afectar, y va a seguir afectando, al mundo de la investigación, especialmente en lo que se refiere a la publicación de trabajos realizados y al establecimiento de un nuevo marco para la colaboración entre investigadores.
